AD Access Offline

Share KeePass Passwords with your Team of multiple users

User verification and syncing is done against the AD at every login. PPS does not store passwords for any directory user and relies on AD for verification. Therefore, if AD goes down, PPS will be inaccessible for those users.

By default, PPS creates a standalone admin account when installed. We recommend creating a Super Admin account directly in PPS for backup and emergency access, such as in case of an AD outage. See Best Practices

We also recommend a secure export of passwords for offline access, in addition to regular database backups.
